E-cig and the law
Reply Quote
I am a smoker and have been for the last 11 years, I have tried quitting several times but I found quitting cold turkey or with champix has made me irritable. So one day as I was surfing the net i came across E-Cigs, and have been doing some research on them, found a few forums. Now I'd rather buy something in person than online, so i started looking for resellers in edmonton alberta where i live, and found that there were none, went on some forums and found some folks are saying customs prevents the ecigs to coming across from china. I was really disappointed, now I am willing to order some for me, some friends and family members who smoke, but I'm worried they will get stuck at customs, and I won't get them.
Does anyone know the laws that pertain to e-cigs here in canada?

So far as I know, personal use in Canada is not illegal but selling or distributing them is. I do know that they sometimes get through the border and sometimes not so I don't know if that is a matter of luck or whether they are not concerned about personal rather than business deliveries.

Hopefully others will chime in with their experiences here.
