Hi,
I'm a graduate student who uses ST for its stimulant properties when writing papers or reading endless journal articles.
What are your thoughts on a recent finding linking a mouth cancer-related interaction effect between FOXM1 gene and nicotine? I haven't actually read the PLOS article, but am curious if you had. The news link is below. Thanks.

We have the article and are examining its relevance. One study is interesting but by itself does not constitute sufficient evidence.
We are not dismissing it but we will need to look at it more closely and see how it fits into the current science. Be assured that should we find it important, it will not be ignored on our website.

On a further note after discussion with better informed colleagues....these test tube experiments do not necessarily reflect what actually happens in humans. This is why we stress the epidemiology...the actual disease rates in humans (and not rats or pigs) who have been using a substance over time. Its really the only sure measure.
